Harry deals with inner conflicts too, as he confronts his past and learns self awareness.

In 1958 Walker’s book was made into a  film, shot in India and staring Stewart Granger, Barbara Rush and I. S. Johar.

David Harry Walker (1911 – 1992) was Scottish-born Canadian novelist. He was educated at Sandhurst, and served with the Black Watch in India, Sudan and Canada.

Published by The Reprint Society in 1958.
